Avrée is a French commune with a population of 80 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Luzy . The inhabitants are called Avrésiens .

geography

Avrée is about 60 kilometers east-southeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan . Avrée is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sémelay in the north, Chiddes in the northeast, Millay in the east, Fléty in the south and southeast, Savigny-Poil-Fol in the south and Lanty in the west and southwest.
