Corancy is a French municipality with 301 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Château-Chinon (until 2015 Château-Chinon (Ville) ). The inhabitants are called Corancycois .

geography

Corancy is about 90 kilometers south-southeast of Auxerre on the Yonne . Corancy is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Chaumard in the north and north-west, Planchez in the north and north-east, Lavault-de-Frétoy in the east, Arleuf in the south-east, Château-Chinon in the south, Saint-Hilaire-en-Morvan in the south-west and Châtin in the west .
