Marigny-l'Église is a French municipality with 293 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Corbigny (until 2015 Lormes ).

Marigny-l'Église is located about 70 kilometers north-east of Nevers on the Cure in the Morvan . Marigny-l'Église is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Germain-des-Champs in the north, Quarré-les-Tombes in the east, Dun-les-Places in the southeast, Brassy in the south, Saint-Martin-du-Puy and Chalaux in the West and Chastellux-sur-Cure in the northwest.
