The Cure is a river in France that runs in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It has its source in the Morvan Regional Nature Park , in the municipality of Anost , and generally drains in a north-westerly direction. It flows through the Lac des Settons and Réservoir du Crescent reservoirs and flows into the Yonne as a right tributary after around 113 kilometers at Cravant . On its way, the Cure crosses the Saône-et-Loire , Nièvre and Yonne departments .

Between Vermenton and the estuary, the Canal d'Accolay , a branch of the Canal du Nivernais, runs parallel to the river .
