The Cousin (in the middle section: Trinquelin ) is a river in France that runs in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the Morvan , in the municipality of Champeau-en-Morvan , generally dewatered in a northwesterly direction, going through the beginning a chain of smaller reservoirs and finally reaches Saint-Agnan the reservoir of the same name Lac de Saint-Agnan . Here he suddenly changes his name to Trinquelin . After the confluence of its right tributary Romanée , it is again called Cousin and flows into the Cure as a right tributary after a total of 67 kilometers in the municipality of Givry . On his way, the cousin crossed the departments of Côte-d'Or , Nièvre and Yonne .
