Moux-en-Morvan (in the local dialect: Mô ) is a French municipality with 538 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Château-Chinon (until 2015: canton of Montsauche-les-Settons ). The inhabitants are called Mouxois .

Moux-en-Morvan is located about 69 kilometers west-southwest of Dijon in the Morvan . Moux-en-Morvan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gouloux in the north and north-west, Alligny-en-Morvan in the north, Blanot in the east and north-east, Chissey-en-Morvan in the south-east, Ménessaire in the south, Gien-sur-Cure in the south and South-West, Planchez in the South-West and Montsauche-les-Settons in the West and North-West.
