Ougny is a French municipality with 25 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Château-Chinon (Ville) (until 2015 Châtillon-en-Bazois ). The inhabitants are called Oignais .

geography

Ougny is about 52 kilometers east-northeast of Nevers on the edge of the Morvan . Ougny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aunay-en-Bazois in the north, Chougny in the east, Tamnay-en-Bazois in the south, Châtillon-en-Bazois in the southwest and Mont-et-Marré in the west.
