geography
Charrin is located about 40 kilometers southeast of Nevers on the Loire (southwest municipal boundary). Charrin is surrounded by the neighboring communities Verneuil in the north, Saint-Hilaire-Fontaine in the east and south-east, Lamenay-sur-Loire in the south and south-west, Cossaye in the south-west, Devay in the west and Champvert in the north-west.
