Lamenay-sur-Loire is about 40 kilometers south-east of Nevers on the Loire . Lamenay-sur-Loire is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Charrin in the north, Saint-Hilaire-Fontaine in the northeast, Gannay-sur-Loire in the south and east and Cossaye in the west.
