Langeron is a French municipality with 366 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nevers and the canton of Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier . The inhabitants are called Langeronais .

geography

Langeron is located about 20 kilometers south-southwest of Nevers am Allier , which borders the municipality in the west. Langeron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mars-sur-Allier in the north, Saint-Parize-le-Châtel in the north-east, Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier in the south and east, Livry in the south and Mornay-sur-Allier in the west.

Route nationale 7 runs along the eastern edge of the municipality .
