Saint-Sulpice is located about 18 kilometers east-northeast of Nevers in central France . Saint-Sulpice is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nolay in the north, Saint-Benin-des-Bois in the northeast, Bona in the east, Saint-Firmin in the southeast, Saint-Jean-aux-Amognes in the south, and Montigny-aux-Amognes in the southwest as well Vaux d'Amognes to the west.
