Fleury-sur-Loire is located about 25 kilometers south-east of Nevers on the Loire and on the Canal latéral à la Loire . Fleury-sur-Loire is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Béard in the north, Druy-Parigny in the north-east, Avril-sur-Loire in the east and south-east, Neuville-lès-Decize in the south and Luthenay-Uxeloup in the west and north-west.
