Lucenay-lès-Aix is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cossaye in the north, Gannay-sur-Loire in the east, La Chapelle-aux-Chasses in the south and south-east, Chézy in the south, Gennetines in the south-west, Saint-Ennemond in the west and Toury-Lurcy in the north-west.
