The Communauté de communes Amognes Cœur du Nivernais is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on November 17, 2016 and comprises 28 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Benin-d'Azy .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

(with the exception of the commune of La Fermeté , which joined the Communauté de communes Sud Nivernais ),
(with the exception of the municipality of Poiseux , which joined the Communauté de communes Loire, Nièvre et Bertranges and the municipalities of Balleray and Ourouër , which joined together to form the Commune nouvelle Vaux d'Amognes ) and
