Asnan is a French municipality with 125 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Clamecy and the canton of Corbigny ( Brinon-sur-Beuvron until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Asnantais .

geography

Asnan is about 55 kilometers south of Auxerre on the edge of the Morvan . Asnan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Grenois in the north and west, Talon in the north and northeast, Challement in the east, Germenay in the southeast and Moraches in the south.
