Jubileiny-2 , MiR nach ( Michail Reschetnjow ), also RS-40 is a Russian remote sensing and amateur radio satellite . It was developed in part by students at Reshetnyov University . A laser reflector , the control unit, the power supply , two small cameras and a remote sensing camera also came from the Reshetnyov University . The expected lifetime was given as one year. The command post is in Krasnoyarsk .
mission
The satellite was launched on July 28, 2012 with a Rockot from the Plesezk Cosmodrome together with Gonets-M 3, Gonets-M 4 and Kosmos 2481.
