Radio 3 , Radio Sputnik 3 or RS-3 is a Soviet amateur radio satellite that was developed and built by the central radio club of the DOSAAF . Radio 3 (and also Radio 4 ) did not contain a transponder and was called an experimental satellite.
mission
The satellite was launched on December 17, 1981 together with RS-4 to RS-8 with a Russian Kosmos-3M launcher from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Russia. RS3A in Moscow was named as the command station.
