AIST 2 ( Russian АИСТ for stork ) is a small Russian satellite from the AIST series that was developed by a group of students, doctoral candidates and scientists from the Samara State Aerospace University in cooperation with the space company ZSKB-Progress .

One of the tasks of the satellite was to measure the earth's magnetic field and micrometeorites of natural and artificial origin.

AIST 2 was launched on April 19, 2013 at 10:00 UTC from the Baikonur Cosmodrome together with Bion-M1 and the five small satellites Beesat-2 , Beesat-3 , OSSI 1 , SOMP and Dove-2 with a Soyuz-2.1a - Missile launched.
