Dompierre-sur-Héry is a village and a former French commune with a population of 80 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the previous municipalities of Beaulieu , Dompierre-sur-Héry and Michaugues were merged into a commune nouvelle with the same name called Beaulieu and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Beaulieu.

history

When the Nivernais was a province of its own from the 9th century to 1790 , the settlement was called Dompiarre . It became an independent municipality with a total area of ​​6.11 square kilometers.
