Annette Andre

Annette Andre (born June 24, 1939 in Sydney , New South Wales ) is an Australian actress .

Life

Andre made her film debut in 1960 in the television movie The Slaughter of St Theresa's Day . Andre mostly worked for television. She starred in television series such as Whiplash , Die 2 and Randall & Hopkirk - Detective Agency with Ghost . She played the role of Philia in the 1966 film comedy Toll Driven the Romans . In the same year Andre starred in a small role in Anthony Mann's war film Password: Heavy Water . Her last role in a movie was in the TV movie Maigret , opposite Richard Harris .

Shortly thereafter, Andre retired from the film business and married the actor Arthur Weingarten in 1989 .
