Annette Kast-Zahn

Annette Kast-Zahn (* 1956 ) is a German psychologist . She became known to a larger audience through her parenting guide, written together with Hartmut Morgenroth, that every child can learn to sleep .

Life

Annette Kast-Zahn is a qualified psychologist and behavioral therapist . She gained her first professional experience in a home for children with behavioral problems and then spent five years in a child psychology practice. She has been running her own practice since 1991 and mainly advises families with children with sleep problems .

In her book Every Child Can Learn to Sleep, written together with Hartmut Morgenroth and first published in 1995 , Kast-Zahn presented Richard Ferber's graduated concept of sleep training to the German reading public . The book became a bestseller and sold 700,000 times in the first 11 years alone. Further parenting guides followed.

Annette Kast-Zahn has three children.
