Annette Mbaye d'Erneville

Annette M'Baye d'Erneville (* 1926 in Sokone , Fatick region ) is a Senegalese writer and journalist.

M'baye attended the École normal de Rufisque teacher training college and then continued his education in Paris. In 1959 she started working as a reporter in Senegal. She founded the women's magazine Awa and worked for Radio Senegal. She also created lyrical works and is the director of the Musée de la Femme Henriette Bathily in Gorée .

It was included in the anthology Daughters of Africa , edited in 1992 by Margaret Busby in London and New York.

Annette M'Baye d'Erneville is the mother of filmmaker Ousmane William M'baye .
