Annette Weissenrieder
Annette Weissenrieder (* 1967 in Karlsruhe ) is a German Protestant theologian .
Life
She studied theology and coinage in Heidelberg and Jena . In Heidelberg, it was in 2001 with a thesis on the clinical picture of the Gospel of Luke doctorate . After several positions as a research assistant in Germany and numerous guest stays at renowned US universities such as Harvard, she switched to the San Francisco Theological Seminary as Professor of the New Testament in 2008 . Since October 2017 she has been teaching as professor for exegesis and theology of the New Testament at the theological faculty of the University of Halle-Wittenberg .
