The Annexe du siège central du Crédit Lyonnais is an office building in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris . The building with the address 6 rue MENARS is a protected since 1997 monument ( monument historique ).

history

The four -story building was built in 1908 according to plans by the architect André-Félix Narjoux (1867–1934). It served as an outbuilding (French annexe) for the headquarters of the Crédit Lyonnais bank . The building, which surrounds a rectangular inner courtyard, housed offices as well as a print shop and the bank's canteen . One of the first terraces with a garden in Paris was on the roof . The building consists of a load-bearing steel frame with walls made of natural stone and brick.
