Alexandre Vardin (born September 18, 1989 in Colombes ) is a French football player .

Career

Vardin grew up on the French island of Guadeloupe and left his homeland in 2005 as a teenager to join the offspring of the SM Caen professional club in metropolitan France. In this he achieved during the 2007/08 season admission to the reserve team appearing in the fourth division and fought for a regular place on the right defensive side. However, over the years it turned out that there was no prospect of advancing to the professional team, so his contract was not extended in 2011. In the same year he signed with the third division US Quevilly , received a place in their first team and was part of a team that, despite poor results in the league, was able to attract attention by winning the first division Olympique Marseille and Stade Rennes in the cup hit. This brought the underdog out of the third division into the 2012 national cup final and Vardin was on the pitch when the title dreams of the surprise team from Quevilly were dashed by a 1-0 loss to Olympique Lyon . Like the majority of his teammates, he had become a participant in the cup final without a single professional appearance in the first or second division.

Immediately after his success in the Cup, he turned his back on Quevilly and found a new employer in third division rivals US Boulogne in the summer of 2012 . At Boulogne he was usually set, but he moved again in 2013 when he was included in the squad of the former second division club CS Sedan , who had crashed into the fifth division due to financial problems . In his team he was regularly considered and achieved two consecutive promotions with his teammates, which meant the return to third division level for him. In the fight against relegation he was able to maintain his regular place and keep the class with the team in the first year.
