Annika Schmidt (born October 20, 1980 ) is a German soccer player who played in the women's Bundesliga for FFC Flaesheim-Hillen in the 1999/2000 and 2000/01 seasons. She has been active for Bayer 04 Leverkusen II since 2013 .

Before that she played at SuS Scheidingen and Fortuna Walstedde. In the Bundesliga she came to 32 games in two seasons for Flaesheim-Hillen, with two goals. During this time she was a team-mate of the national players Kerstin Stegemann and Jeannette Götte . In the 2000/01 DFB Cup final they lost 2-1 to 1. FFC Frankfurt , Schmidt was on the field for the full time in this game. As a result, she moved to the USA and played another game in the 2nd Bundesliga for SG Wattenscheid 09 in the 2006/07 season .

After a six-year football break, Schmidt has been supporting the second representation of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, which plays in the Regionalliga West , since autumn 2013 .
