Annkathrin Kammeyer (born January 12, 1990 in Hamburg-Horn ) is a German politician ( SPD ). She has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since March 2011 .

Life

Kammeyer was born in the Horn district of Hamburg. She completed her Abitur in 2009 at the Charlotte-Paulsen-Gymnasium in Wandsbek. In October of the same year she began studying political science at the University of Hamburg , which she graduated in 2013. She then completed a master’s degree in political science at the University of Hamburg and graduated in 2017. Since then, she has been working alongside her mandate for a non-profit foundation that realizes affordable living space for trainees.

Kammeyer is a supporter of FC St. Pauli . She lives in Hamburg-Billstedt.

Kammeyer has been a member of the SPD since 2006. She became group chairwoman of the Jusos in Horn and Juso district chairwoman in the Hamburg-Mitte district.

Since 2008 she has been working in the office of the member of parliament Michael Neumann , where she was in charge of the district office in Horn. At the beginning of her studies she became a member of the Juso university group and worked as a project manager in the AStA (General Student Committee) at the University of Hamburg.

In the state elections in Hamburg in 2011 , she managed to get into the Hamburg citizenship through position 46 on the state list of the SPD Hamburg. On March 7, 2011, at the age of 21, she became the youngest member in the history of Parliament.

In addition to his work in the Hamburg Parliament, Kammeyer was also a member of the University of Hamburg's student parliament.

In 2013, Kammeyer was elected deputy state chairman of Jusos Hamburg and also stood as the top candidate of Jusos Hamburg in the 2015 state election. Above the 20th place on the list, she again made it into the Hamburg state parliament in 2015 with an outstanding personal vote result.

As a member of the 21st Hamburg Citizenship, she is a member of the Committee for Science and Equality, the Committee for Social Affairs, Labor and Integration, and the Sports Committee.

Kammeyer is chairwoman of the SPD Billstedt and an assessor in the state executive committee of the SPD Hamburg. In the 2020 general election in Hamburg , she received a direct mandate in the constituency of Billstedt-Wilhelmsburg-Finkenwerder .
