Anonymous
By Anonymous (of Greek ανώνυμος = nameless) is called a writer, author or composer of unknown origin and identity .
The term is also used when an author does not want to be identified and does not want to use an artist name . Then his contributions were and will be published under anonymus . Usually the term anonymus (adjectivally anonymous ) is only used retrospectively if the author's name is missing or not recorded in a work.
In work organization , an anonymous is a placeholder for a role without a named occupation.
history
From the 16th century onwards, pieces of music, pamphlets critical of the regime , anti-church texts and erotic fantasies were published under Anonymus . Many also with additions that give information about the origin or place of residence of the author, such as Gallus Anonymus or Der Anonymus d'outre-tombe . These writings are well received by historians ; they try to assign them to a person. This is also the case with the Upper Rhine revolutionary who, since the discovery of Herman Haupt (published in 1893), has been the author of an anonymous reform paper from the Upper Rhine region, which was essentially written in the first decade of the 16th century.
