Anselmo Colzani

Anselmo Colzani (born March 28, 1918 in Budrio , Italy , † March 20, 2006 in Milan ) was an Italian opera singer (baritone).

Life

Colzani first appeared in Richard Wagner's Lohengrin in 1946 on the side of Renata Tebaldi .

His career began after another appearance at La Scala in Milan and the New York Metropolitan Opera. In total, he performed in New York for 18 years. In his long career he sang with Maria Callas , Franco Corelli , Mario del Monaco and Carlo Bergonzi .
