Antanas Burinskas

Antanas Burinskas (born June 3, 1965 in Vidgiriai , district Vilkaviškis ) is a Lithuanian politician, former deputy minister and mayor .

Life

After graduating from the Gražiškiai Middle School near Vilkaviškis in 1983, Burinskas graduated from the 21st Technical Vocational School in Vilnius in 1983 and worked as a radio equipment fitter . From 2007 to 2010 he completed the professional bachelor's degree in business management at the College Marijampolė and from 2010 to 2012 the bachelor's degree in business management and administration at the Kauno technologijos universitetas in Kaunas .

He was the director of his company Antano Burinsko firma . In 2007 he was mayor of the municipality of Kalvarija and thus the first Darbo Partija member in this position. From 2007 he worked in the company UAB “Vilaneta”. Since 2007 he has been a member of the Kalvarija municipal council . From July 2016, he was Deputy Minister of Social Affairs of Lithuania as deputy of Algimanta Pabedinskienė in the Butkevičius cabinet .

Burinskas is married. With his wife Vilija he has the daughter Gerda and the son Gytis.
