The Antas do Barrocal (also Antas Herdade do Barrocal ) , restored in the 1970s, are two better preserved dolmens on Monte do Barrocal, in the municipality of Nossa Senhora da Tourega , in the Évora district , in Portugal . The area forms, together with the Antas of Monte Álamo , a high concentration of megalithic systems. Anta is the Portuguese name for around 5000 megalithic structures or dolmens , which were built during the Neolithic in the west of the Iberian Peninsula by the successors of the cardial or imprint culture .

Anta 1 is a Chalcolithic Corridoranta with an almost intact polygonal chamber about 3.0 m in diameter and 2.3 m high made of seven bearing stones (five in situ ) and a granite cover plate . Only two broken plates near the chamber have survived from the passage. There are no traces of the hill (the mamoa ). The Anta is a national monument classified in 1910 .

About 100 meters northwest of Anta 1 is Anta 2, which was essentially the same, but is more disturbed.

In addition to these two, seven other remains of Antas have been identified nearby.
