Anteo Zamboni
Anteo Zamboni (born April 11, 1911 in Bologna , † October 31, 1926 there ) was an Italian anarchist .
Assassination attempt on Mussolini
Gino Lucetti tried to kill Benito Mussolini with a bomb at the Porta Pia in Rome as early as September 1926 .
On October 31, 1926, Anteo Zamboni tried to shoot Mussolini on Via Rizzoli in Bologna while he was taking part in a parade to commemorate the March on Rome .
Zamboni's shots missed the dictator; he was immediately attacked and lynched by fascists close to him . The man who held him first was Pier Paolo Pasolini's father, the cavalry officer Carlo Alberto Pasolini . The event was used by the fascist government as an opportunity to restrict political freedoms and dissolve the remaining political parties.

Two streets in Bologna have Anteo Zamboni's names: the Mura Anteo Zamboni and the Via Anteo Zamboni . In a film by Gianfranco Mingozzi about the assassination, Gli ultimi tre giorni (1978), Zamboni was played by Franco Lotterio .
