Anthon Bang

Anthon Bang (born December 9, 1809 in Copenhagen , † July 31, 1870 in Kristiania ) was a Norwegian author and editor.

Life

Bang grew up in Trondheim and his grandfather was Carsten Gerhard Bang , the director of Røros Kobberverk .

In 1844 he ended his military career and worked as a publicist and editor of publications such as Lørdags-Aftenblad for Arbeidsklassen in Christiania (1860-1866), in 1869 he founded Dagbladet
