Anthony Dang Mingyan

Anthony Dang Mingyan (born July 12, 1967 ) is Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Xi'an , People's Republic of China .

Life

Anthony Dang Mingyan, the eighth of nine children, appeared in 1985 in the seminary into Sian (Xi'an) and received in 1991, after his theological training in the Sheshan seminary of the diocese of Shanghai, the ordination . He was a pastor in Sian.

Dang was named auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Xi'an on July 26, 2005 and was appointed coadjutor of Archbishop Anthony Li Duan . In May 2006, Dang was appointed Archbishop of Sian and Pope Benedict XVI. and the Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association .
