Anthony E. Zuiker (born August 17, 1968 in Blue Island, Illinois , USA ) is an American screenwriter and producer . He is best known for the CSI television format that he invented .

Life

Zuiker studied English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas . Zuiker has three children with his wife Jennifer, the youngest son was born on March 12, 2007. In 2011, his wife filed for divorce. Before with the idea of CSI by Jerry Bruckheimer became famous, he drove guests with the tram from the Casino Hotel Mirage to the complex Treasure Iceland back and forth.

In all three series of the CSI franchise he acts as a producer and in some cases also as an author. He has already made three cameo appearances in CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators .

For CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators, he has already received three Emmy nominations. In addition to his own series, he also worked on the TV production The Man in 2007 and previously in 1999 as a writer for The Runner .

In 2012 he founded the YouTube premium channel "Black Box TV", for which he shows short and independent films from the horror, science fiction and thriller sectors.
