Anthony Kaldellis

Anthony Kaldellis ( Greek Αντώνιος Εμμ. Καλδέλλης , born November 29, 1971 in Athens ) is a Greek Byzantinist .

Life

He earned a BA in Philosophy and BA in History from the University of Michigan (1994) and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Michigan (2001). He teaches at Ohio State University , where he has been a professor in the Department of Classics since 2007 . From 2006–2007 he was Associate Professor and 2001–2006 Assistant Professor.

Research focuses include the Chronographia of Michael Psellos and the ethnicity in the Byzantine Empire .
