Seiyō Kottō Yōgashiten ( Japanese 西洋 骨董 洋 菓子 店 , dt. "Western antique confectionery"), also known as Antique Bakery , is a manga series by the Japanese illustrator Fumi Yoshinaga from 1999 to 2002. The series was called Dorama and Anime TV series filmed and won the 2002 Kōdansha Manga Prize in the Shōjo category .

The work is about a pastry shop run by four men and can be classified into the genres of Comedy , Gourmet and Shōnen-Ai .

The Antique pastry shop by Keiichirō Tachibana ( Antique 圭 一郎 ) is run by him as a waiter and three employees. Keiichirō comes from a wealthy family and, although he owns the pastry shop, does not particularly like sweets. His childhood friend Chikage Kobayakawa ( 小早川 千 影 ) is learning to wait with him and also works at Antique . His family serves in the Tachibana's home, but he's clumsy and clumsy. He also fell in love with the pastry chef. This one is Yūsuke Ono ( 小野 裕 介 ), who can seduce any man, but has often been fired due to the resulting quarrel. He is supported by the young Eiji Kanda ( 神 田 え い じ ), who is learning the baking trade with him. He once aspired to a career as a boxer, but could not continue this for health reasons.

In 2008, Studios Nippon Animation and Shirogumi produced the anime television series Seiyō Kottō Yōgashiten - Antique ( 西洋 骨董 洋 菓子 店 ~ ア ン テ ィ ー ク ~ ) for the manga under the direction of Yoshiaki Okumura . The character design was created by Akio Uchino and Tatsuo Shimamura was the artistic director. The series aired from July 3, 2008 to September 18, 2008 on Fuji TV on the entertainment program.
