noitaminA
noitaminA ( Japanese ノ イ タ ミ ナ ), animation read backwards , is a program that has been running since April 2005 on Thursdays (as a television day , but as a calendar day on Fridays) at night on the Japanese channel Fuji TV , as well as later on the other channels of the Fuji Network System running. Japanese animated series ( anime ) produced by Fuji TV are broadcast , which are aimed primarily at women in their 20s.
Vitamin A started on April 15, 2005 when the first episode of the Honey and Clover series aired. After this series ended on September 27 of the same year with the 24th episode, the anime Paradise Kiss followed . Since then, numerous other series, each with a length between eleven and 23 episodes, have run.
The broadcasting time, originally on Thursdays 24: 45–25:15, was extended to one hour from April 2010. Instead of one, vitamin A now includes two 30-minute series. This step was withdrawn in January 2015.
In July 2010, the manga film adaptation Moyashimon was shown for the first time instead of an anime, a dorama . Between April and June 2013, Katanagari was shown for the first time, although this had a newly produced opening and closing title that also filled both series slots.
In March 2016, Fuji TV signed a deal with Amazon that gave Amazon Prime Video the exclusive rights to stream the vitaminA series outside of Japan, beginning with Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress .
