Wings ( Japanese ウ ィ ン グ ス , Wingusu ), formerly Gekkan Wings ( 月刊 ウ ィ ン グ ス ), is a Japanese manga magazine that is aimed at a young female audience and therefore belongs to the Shōjo category. It focuses on fantasy and science fiction series, often related to anime series. Some series can also be assigned to the Boys' Love genre or contain allusions to it. The sister magazine Dear +, on the other hand, only contains explicit Boys' Love stories. Wings has been published monthly by Shinshokan since 1982 . Special editions appear under the titles Un Poco ( ウ ン ポ コ , Unpoko ) and Shōsetsu Wings ( 小説 Wings). In the past there were also the special edition series South ( サ ウ ス , Sausu ), Phantom Club ( フ ァ ン ト ム ク ラ ブ , Fantomu Kurabu ) and Huckleberry ( ハ ッ ク ル ベ リ ー , Hakkuruberī ).
