Anton Borgmeier

Anton Borgmeier (born February 11, 1920 in Paderborn , † 2006 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German economist .

Anton Borg Meier received his doctorate in 1956 with a thesis on the pricing policy in West Germany from 1945 to 1956 and habilitated in 1963. In 1985 he was at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg emeritus since he lived in Halle (Saale) .

In 1974 Borgmeier received the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze and in 1988 in gold.
