Anton Braunbehrens

Anton Theodor Moritz Braunbehrens (born August 15, 1840 in Schackenthal ( Anhalt-Dessau ), † December 6, 1901 in Leipzig ) was a German judge .

Life

During his student days he was a member of the Corps Hansea Bonn . In 1862 he was sworn in to the Prussian sovereign. In 1870 he was magistrate and in 1878 senior judge. In 1879 he was appointed public prosecutor at the Higher Regional Court in Celle. In 1881 he became a district judge. In 1884 Braunbehrens was promoted from the regional judge in Hanover to the higher regional judge in Celle and in 1891 he was appointed president of the regional court in Greifswald. In 1893 he came to the Imperial Court. He was active in the fourth criminal senate.
