Anton Burkard

Anton Burkard (born August 18, 1809 in Frankfurt am Main ; † February 17, 1861 ibid) was a politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Anton Burkard studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He was a lawyer and fiscal in Frankfurt am Main. On August 24, 1848 he was elected to the thirty-member constitutional committee of the city, in the following election on October 25, 1848 he was elected to the Constituent Assembly of the Free City of Frankfurt . He was also a member of the Legislative Body from 1846 to 1853 .
