Anton Dollacker
Anton Dollacker (born June 1, 1862 in Amberg ; † September 24, 1944 there ) was a Bavarian lawyer and local researcher.
Dollacker was born as the son of Georg Dollacker, a district judge. After attending grammar school in Amberg, he studied law at the University of Munich and then joined the judicial service of the Kingdom of Bavaria. He was employed in the administration of the prisons in Kaiserslautern, Nuremberg and Wasserburg am Inn. After reaching the age limit, he was retired with the rank of senior government councilor.
In addition to his professional sphere of activity, Dollacker made great contributions in his hometown to research into the history of the city and the history of the Upper Palatinate from prehistoric times to the present. With his help, the holdings of the city archive could be sorted and made accessible.
At the same time as his brother Josef , he was made an honorary citizen of Amberg on March 9, 1934 .
