Anton Glaninger

Anton Glaninger (born March 5, 1888 in Scharlreith, Ybbs an der Donau , † March 9, 1954 in Loosdorf ) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( ÖVP ). Glaninger was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1945 to 1949 .

Glaninger attended the commercial school and the agricultural school and in 1912 acquired a farm with a milk trade in Loosdorf. Between 1914 and 1918 he did his military service and was taken prisoner of war. Glaninger opened a dairy in 1923 and was a functionary in agricultural cooperatives. He was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

Between 1934 and 1938 Glaninger was District Leader of the Fatherland Front . After the Second World War he represented the ÖVP from December 12, 1945 to November 5, 1949 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
