Anton Hüttmayr

Anton Hüttmayr (born August 18, 1957 in Puchkirchen am Trattberg ) is an Upper Austrian businessman and politician ( ÖVP ). Hüttmayr was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament from 1997 to 2015 .

education and profession

Anton Hüttmayr attended elementary and secondary school and learned a technical and a commercial profession. He worked as a system fitter at home and abroad and worked as a workshop manager. Hüttmayr is a graduate of the Catholic Social Academy, acquired the university entrance qualification examination for law and attended seminars in business administration, management, REFA, industrial engineering and labor law. Hüttmayr also passed the license examination for rental cars.

With his wife Christine, Hüttmayr built up a company for passenger transport and rental and, as an independent businessman, is the owner and managing director of a staffing company with around 160 employees in Puchkirchen. Hüttmayr also owns a company for the manufacture and marketing of workshop equipment and also operates an industrial park in Puchkirchen.

Between 1983 and 1987, Hüttmayr was chairman of the ÖAAB in Puchkirchen and service officer. Since 1992 he has headed the ÖVP Vöcklabruck as district party chairman, and from 1985 to 1991 he was Vice Mayor of Puchkirchen. Hüttmayr was elected to the Austrian Federal Council on July 7, 1993 , to which he was a member until November 2, 1997. He then moved to the Upper Austrian state parliament, to which he had been a member since October 31, 1997.

Private

Hüttmayr is married and has three daughters. He is the district chairman of the Austrian relief organization in Vöcklabruck. Since 2006 he has also been chairman of the Vöcklabruck / Gmunden regional management and in 2006 played a key role in the implementation of the state exhibition "Coal and Steam".

From 1995 to the beginning of 2012 he was President of the Upper Austrian Civil Protection Association , from which he resigned with great media coverage. The reason was a contract award where his own company got the chance without a tender.
