Anton Karlsson (born January 29, 1990 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Karlsson made his debut in the World Cup in December 2012 in the sprint in Québec , where he finished 42nd. He achieved his first World Cup points in March 2014 in the sprint in the classic technique in Drammen , where he finished 27th. At the 2013 Winter Universiade in Lago di Tesero , he won silver in the mixed team sprint.

In the Scandinavian Cup he achieved his only top ten placement in February 2014 in the sprint in Otepää with fifth place. He achieved his best placement in the overall Scandinavian Cup ranking in the 2013/14 season with 58th place.

In March 2012 Karlsson took part in the Wasalauf and finished the race in 26th place. At the Rollerski World Championships 2015 in Val di Fiemme , he won the bronze medal in the team sprint together with Robin Norum .
