Anton Pashku

Anton Pashku ( Serbo-Croatian  Антон Пашку / Anton Pašku , born January 8, 1937 near Prizren , † October 31, 1995 in Pristina ) was an Albanian-speaking writer and editor. He is one of the central figures in Albanian-language literature in the 20th century. He wrote dramas, short stories and a single novel entitled Oh and is considered an avant-garde who left a lasting mark on a subsequent generation of writers.

Anton Pashku did not reach the general public and maybe did not want to. In Albania , as a decadent, it was not even allowed to be published during the communist regime and has therefore remained largely unknown there to this day. Today his books are available all over Albania.
