Anton Wembacher
Anton Wembacher (born September 15, 1955 in Bischofswiesen , Bavaria ) is a former German luge rider .
At the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the 1980s, he and Anton Winkler formed an internationally very successful two-seater couple. He started for the RC Berchtesgaden and was 175 cm tall and 82 kg body weight.

- 1979 World Championships at Königssee: 3rd place in doubles
- 1980 Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid : 6th place in doubles
- 1980 Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid : 8th place in singles
Private
His brother Franz was also a good luge athlete and Olympic champion in luge at the 1984 Winter Olympics .
