Antoni Morell
Antoni Morell i Mora (born December 14, 1941 in Barcelona , † January 5, 2020 in Andorra la Vella ) was a Catalan - Andorran writer . He was a lawyer and worked in the public administration of his country. In this context he also served as a non-resident Andorran ambassador to the Holy See from 2005 to 2010 . He worked for numerous newspapers and magazines, such as La Vanguardia , Avui , Poble Andorrà , Andorra 7 , Diari d'Andorra , Periòdic d'Andorra and Set Dies .
Antoni Morell was considered one of the most important authors of Andorran literature and was president of the Andorran Writers' Union. Most of his novels deal with Andorran themes and historical material.
