Antonio Buzzolla
Antonio Buzzolla (born March 2, 1815 in Adria , † March 20, 1871 in Venice ) was an Italian composer .
Buzzolla worked as Kapellmeister at the Italian Opera in Berlin from 1843 to 44 and later returned to Italy and became Kapellmeister at the St. Marcus Church (San Marco) in Venice. He wrote several operas and operettas , including "Amleto", "Feramondo" and "Il matino". He also belongs to the group of composers who composed the Messa per Rossini at Verdi's suggestion . The first two pieces of the mass, “Requiem” and the like, are from Buzzolla. "Kyrie"
